UEFA has rewarded  Andres Iniesta as the best player in Europe. The poll was conducted by 53 journalists from all over the European continent, which gave the award to the Barcelona player with 19 votes, two more than teammate Messi and Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo. Based on his performance in the European Championship, he was named the best player of the tournament, plus the addition of a new title with La Roja in Poland and Ukraine, these were keys to the final achievement award given by UEFA.Andres Iniesta

Andres Iniesta won with 19 votes, two more than were Cristiano and Messi, who tied at 17. Voted one journalist from each country of the 53 having attached UEFA. Representatives from England, Germany, Italy and France voted into Spanish.

The Best compliment was from The UEFA president, Michel Platini, who was also happy for the Spanish player award. He said to Iniesta “I would love to play alongside you and Xavi”.

Among the top ten were the Italian Pirlo in fourth place. Xavi Fifth, In the sixth captain of Real Madrid and Spain, Iker Casillas. Colombian striker of Atletico Madrid, Falcao, took ninth. And closing the top-ten Ozil, Real Madrid’s German midfielder. Altogether seven League Championship players were on the list of the ten best in the UEFA.
